RSI Criteria
- Crosses above a particular value or
- Crosses below a particular value or
- Turns down in direction while below the specified value or
- Turn up in direction while above the specified value
Properties

The above settings would scan for a 14 Period RSI Crossing Above a Value of 30. The scan would be applied to a Daily chart.

Period
Select the RSI period (bars) that the scan will be looking for. If this were set to 14 it would search using a 14 period RSI.
Value
This is the setting for the value that the RSI must cross above or below. If this were set to 30 it would look for when the RSI crosses either below or above the 30 value.
Type
- Crosses Above Value
Select this option to scan for when the RSI crosses above the value specified in the Value field.
- Crosses Below Value
Select this option to scan for when the RSI crosses below the value specified in the Value field.
- Turns Up - Below Value
Select this option to scan for when the RSI begins to climb in value while below the specified Value.
- Turns Down - Above Value
Select this option to scan for when the RSI begins to decrease in value while above the specified Value.
Period Type
This setting sets the period type to use when calculating the RSI. For example, by selecting Daily the RSI will be calculated off a day bar period (a daily chart), if it was set to Weekly, it would be calculated off a Weekly bar period (a weekly chart). You can select from the following options.

- Weekly
- Monthly
- Yearly
