The account module of the Portfolio Manager has been designed to help you keep track of all your trading capital, regardless of whether it is in an active trade or not.

Creating an Account

To create an account in the Portfolio Manager, left click the Show Accounts Summary button (located on the left hand side of the screen).

The Account Summary panel will expand, and the New Account button will be displayed.

Left click on the New Account button.  The New Account window will be displayed.

Enter in the required details, and click the Save button to continue.

A summary of the newly created account will be displayed.

To open the Accounts transaction window, left click on the Open Account button.

A list of the transactions contained within the account will be displayed.

Adding a Transaction

You can manually add deposit and withdrawal transactions into the account by using the Add Account Transaction button.

The New Transaction window will be displayed.

Enter the required details, and click the Save button.  The new transaction will be displayed.

Editing a Transaction

To edit a transaction, left click on the transaction, then click the Edit Account Transaction button.

The Edit Transaction window will be displayed.

Make the desired changes, and click Save.  The changes will then be displayed on the selected transaction.

  

Deleting a transaction

To delete a transaction, left click on the transaction you wish to delete, then click the Delete Account Transaction button.

When asked to confirm this action, click Yes.

The transaction will be removed from the account.

 

Reconciling the Account Transactions

To reconcile a transaction(s) in the account, click the Reconcile Account button.

The transaction window will change.  Checkboxes will be added to the left of each transaction, and a Reconcile button will be displayed at the top of the screen.

 

Tick the checkboxes on the transactions you want to reconcile.  Once ticked, click the Reconcile button.  The selected transactions will then be removed from the list, leaving only non-reconciled transactions in the list.

 

To return to the normal account transaction view, press the Show Account Transactions button.

Selecting an account while entering / exiting a trade

 

When entering or exiting a trade, you can choose an account from where the money will be taken / added.  The field to select the Account is located in the top half of the enter / exit trade windows.

Select the Account from the drop down list
