• Data Group(s) to be scannedThese modifications can affect the scan for only 1 scanning session, or permanently. The ability to save the modifications as a completely new scan is also available.
Modifying the Date Range
In the main scanning window you will see the Date Range window.
To modify this setting for a previously saved scan, left click once on the scan located in the Saved Scans window (item will highlight in blue).
The Date Range window will update to display the date range settings for the selected scan. Click on the drop down arrow next to the date option, and select the new setting.
If you only want this change to have an effect on the next scan, click on the Execute Scan button. If you would like to modify the selected scan so it always uses this new setting, click the Save button. To create a new scan using the adjusted settings, left click the Save As button, and enter a name for the new scan.
Modifying the Scan Criteria
From the scans section of the main window, you can modify existing criteria, remove existing criteria, or add new criteria to the selected scan.
Modifying Existing Criteria
To modify existing criteria, left click once on a scan to select it (located in the Saved Scans section of the main window). The criteria saved within the selected scan will be displayed.
Left click once on the criteria you wish to modify (will highlight in blue).
Left click once on the Edit button.The Edit Scan Properties window will be displayed.
Make the desired changes to the criteria properties, and click the Close button when finished.
If you only want this change to have an effect on the next scan, press the Execute Scan button. If you would like to modify the selected scan so it always uses these new criteria settings, click the Save button. To create a new scan using the adjusted criteria settings, left click the Save As button, and enter a name for the new scan.
Removing an Existing Scan Criteria
To remove an existing criteria, left click once on a scan to select it (located in the Saved Scans section of the main window). The criteria saved within the selected scan will be displayed.
Left click once on the criteria you wish to modify (will highlight in blue).
Left click the Remove button.The selected scan criteria will be removed. (No prompts or confirmation windows are displayed).
If you only want this change to have an effect on the next scan, press the Execute Scan button. If you would like to modify the selected scan so it always uses these new criteria settings, click the Save button. To create a new scan using the adjusted criteria settings, left click the Save As button, and enter a name for the new scan.
Adding a New Scan Criteria
To modify existing criteria, left click once on a scan to select it (located in the Saved Scans section of the main window). The criteria saved within the selected scan will be displayed.
Left click the Add button.The Select Scan window will be displayed.
Expand the criteria list down, and left click on the new criteria you want to add.
Once selected, left click the Select button.
The Edit Scan Properties window will be displayed.
Modify the properties if required, and left click on the Close button when finished.
The new scan criteria will be displayed in the Scans section of the main window.
If you only want this change to have an effect on the next scan, press the Execute Scan button. If you would like to modify the selected scan so it always uses these new criteria settings, click the Save button. To create a new scan using the adjusted criteria settings, left click the Save As button, and enter a name for the new scan.Modifying the Data Groups
From the Data Groups section of the main scanning window, you can add or remove data groups to scan for a previously saved scan.
Adding a Data Group
To add a new data group, left click once on a scan to select it (located in the Saved Scans section of the main window). The data groups saved within the selected scan will be displayed in the Data Groups window.
Left click the Add button.
The Data Groups window will be displayed.
Expand down the available folders, and left click on the item you want to add as a new data group.
Once a folder/workbook/scan result has been selected, left click the Select button.
The new data group will be added to the selected scan, and will display in the Data Groups window.
If you only want this change to have an effect on the next scan, press the Execute Scan button. If you would like to modify the selected scan so it always has this new data group available, click the Save button. To create a new scan that includes the new data group, left click the Save As button, and enter a name for the new scan.
Removing a Data Group
To remove a data group from an existing scan, left click once on a scan to select it (located in the Saved Scans section of the main window). The data groups saved within the selected scan will be displayed in the Data Groups window.
Left click the Remove button.
The selected data group will be removed (no prompts or confirmation windows are displayed).
If you only want this change to have an effect on the next scan, press the Execute Scan button. If you would like to modify the selected scan so the data group is no longer available, click the Save button. To create a new scan that excludes the data group, left click the Save As button, and enter a name for the new scan.
