
In the above example, BHP and RIO are being compared from the 1st of October 2008 until now.
Note: With the release of program update 6.4 Build 9, the ability to set the display as price movements rather than percentage movements was added to this chart style. To adjust the Relative Comparison Chart to display as price movements now, left click on a blank area of the chart, go to the Control Panel on the left hand side, and adjust the Display property to Price.
Opening a Relative Comparison Chart
To open a Relative Comparison Chart, click on the New menu, go to the Charts section and select the Relative Comparison Chart option.

The Security Selector window will display:

Type in the first code you wish to use and press Enter on your keyboard. The code will be added to the Compare Codes section on the bottom left corner of the screen.

Type in the second code you wish to compare to the first, and press Enter on your keyboard. The code will be added to the Compare Codes section on the bottom left corner of the screen.

With both codes entered, locate the Create Relative Comparison Chart button along the top of the Security Selection window and left click it once.

The Relative Comparison Chart will display.

Setting the Starting Date
By default, the Relative Comparison Chart will display the last year’s worth of price history. You can however adjust this to any date by left clicking on a blank area of the chart, going to the Control Panel on the left hand side of the screen and adjusting the Start Date option listed under the Properties section.

Adding Additional Codes
You can add additional codes to the Relative Comparison Chart by left clicking on a blank area of the chart, go to the Control Panel on the left hand side and clicking the Compare Another Code option listed under the Actions section.
The Security Selection window will display. Enter in the additional code you wish to compare, then click the Create Relative Comparison Chart button to return to the Relative Comparison Chart window.
