For traders who still like to hand chart, or just want to see the bigger picture of the market, the Market Analyst 5 Wall Chart feature takes the time intensive element out of the process.
Enabling Wall Charts
To enable Wall Charts, open a chart, and left click on a blank area of the page.
Go to the Control panel on the left hand side and click the Turn on Wall Charts Mode action.
The Wall Charts Interface will display over the chart.
You can left click on a non selected box to select it, and vice versa.
Adobe Reader
Wall Charts does require Adobe Reader to work. Adobe Reader is a free program and can be downloaded from www.adobe.com

Using Wall Charts
When Wall Charts has been enabled, a list of Properties will be displayed on the left hand side of the Control panel:
Actions
Turn Off Wall Chart Mode: Click this action to turn Wall Charts off.
Print Wall Chart: Once the Wall Chart has been set up as desired, click this action to print the Wall Chart to a PDF file.
Properties
Overlap Bars / Points: When printing across multiple pages that need to be joined together, you do not want the chart details printed to the edge. This setting will adjust the amount of space left either side of the chart.
Millimetres Per Bar: Adjusts the thickness of the bars on the chart.
Millimetres Per Move: Adjusts the size of the price scale.
Imperial Scales
As a number of Gann traders use the Imperial scaling system (bars per inch, for example), we will be including these options in a free update to Market Analyst 5 in the near future. In the meantime, please find a quick reference guide below:
1 inch = 25.4mm
Labels every (Major Scales): Allows you to select the frequency of labels displayed on the major price and time scales.
Auto Start Date: When un-ticked, a manual date entry is available to select. This allows you to select a starting date for the Wall Chart to print from. This can be set to any date, even if data does not exist for that point in time. This is useful when attempting to plot standard Gann cycles.
Scale Start Price: Allows you to select a starting price for the Wall Chart to print from.
Price Scale Minor Step: Measured in Millimetres, this property allows you to adjust the interval between minor price scale grid lines.
Price Scale Major Step: Measured in Millimetres, this property allows you to adjust the interval between major price scale grid lines.
Date Scale Minor Step: Measured in Millimetres, this property allows you to adjust the interval between minor date scale grid lines
Date Scale Major Step: Measured in Millimetres, this property allows you to adjust the interval between major date scale grid lines.
Once you have set up the properties of the Wall Chart as desired, click the Print Wall Chart action.
Once processed, the Wall Chart pages will load into Adobe Reader. From here you can print the Wall Chart yourself, of save the file to disk and take it to your local printer.
