On the 01st of December 2008 the following email was sent to all live data clients announcing that real time FX data from CMC would be ending on the 19th of December 2008.
Over the last two years Market Analyst has worked with CMC Markets to provide a complementary foreign exchange data service for anyone who subscribed to a real time ASX or SFE service. It has also been available as a standalone service for $40 per month.
After a comprehensive review of this data service, and the trouble we have been having maintaining it at a level that we’re satisfied with, we have had to make the decision to end this service and cease providing real time FX data directly. The real time FX feed will end on the 19th of December 2008.
We are aware of the impact that this decision may have on you and apologise for the inconvenience that it may cause you. We do however believe that one of the alternatives that we have listed below will be able to give you a far better service for live FX data than what we have been able to provide.
Currently Market Analyst has secured agreements with three other real time FX providers which are now available for use in Market Analyst 5:

We already have a number of people using FX data with the above providers. The amount of historical data is greatly increased, and in the case of GFTFX the price is reduced to just $5 a month. All the above providers have free trials of their data available if you are interested.
