Volume Scan

The Volume Scan identifies securities that have volume levels above or below a specified value. When two Volume scans are used together (one searching for values above a volume level and one below a volume level) you can look for securities that fall between a specific volume range.

This scan would search for a security’s Volume level that is Greater than 100,000. The scan would use the closing prices based on daily bars.

In this example the volume must be higher than 100,000.00

Volume:              Selects the volume of the securities to search for. Selecting 100,000 would look for securities with a volume level (during the specified Date Range) above or below 100,000.

Direction

Greater Than: Select this option to scan for securities that are equal to or greater than (=>) the specified Volume Value.

• Less Than: Select this option to scan for securities that are equal to or less than (=<) the

specified Volume Value.
