Continuous Volume

The Continuous Volume scan searches for securities that have displayed x number consecutive bars with an increase in volume, over a specified time period.

This scan would search for securities that display 3 consecutive bars with a higher volume total (when compared to the previous volume bar). The scan would use the volume totals based on daily bars.

3 Consecutive bars higher in volume.

Direction

• Higher Volume: Select this option to scan for securities that have increased in Volume.

• Lower Volume: Select this option to scan for securities that have decreased in Volume.

Number: Select the number of consecutive bars to scan for. Selecting 3 will mean 3 consecutive bars need to have either a higher or lower volume total than the bar preceding it.
