Slow Stochastic scan
The Fast Stochastic scan searches for when an x period fast stochastic...
• %K Crosses above %D
• %K Crosses below %D
• %D Crosses Above (Value)
• %D Crosses Below (Value)
• %D Turns Up – Below (Value)
• %D Turns Down – Above (Value)

• %K Turns Down – Above (Value)
These settings would scan for a 14/3/3 Stochastic, where the %K line crosses above the %D line. The scan would be applied to a Daily chart. (In this example Value, Upper Value and Lower Value would all be ignored by the scan).

Scan For
•%K Crosses above %D: Select this option to scan for when the %K line of the stochastic crosses above the % D line.
•%K Crosses Below %D: Select this option to scan for when the %K line of the stochastic crosses below the %D line.
•%D Crosses Above (Value): Select this option to scan for when the %D line of the stochastic crosses above a user defined value.
•%D Crosses Below (Value): Select this option to scan for when the %D line of the stochastic crosses below a user defined value.
•%D Turns Up – Below (Value): Select this option to scan for when the %D line of the stochastic turns from a downward direction, to an upward direction. This turn must occur below a user defined value.
•%D Turns Down – Above (Value): Select this option to scan for when the %D line of the stochastic turns from an upward direction, to a downward direction. This turn must occur above a user defined value.
•%K Crosses – Above (Value): Select this option to scan for when the %K line of the stochastic crosses above a user defined value.
•%K Crosses – Below (Value): Select this option to scan for when the %K line of the stochastic crosses below a user defined value.
•%K Turns Up – Below (Value): Select this option to scan for when the %K line of the stochastic turns from a downward direction, to an upward direction. This turn must occur below a user defined value.
•%K Turns Down – Above (Value): Select this option to scan for when the %K line of the stochastic turns from an upward direction, to a downward direction. This turn must occur above a user defined value.
Base Stochastic: This is the number of time periods that are used to calculate the base stochastic.
%K Bars: This is the first Moving Average of the Stochastic. Sets the number of Bars to use.
%D Bars: This is the second Moving Average of the Stochastic. Sets the number of Bars to use.
Value: Used for criteria that require a reference value (either above or below the inputted number).
Upper Value: When wanting the criteria to occur within a value range, the upper value is inputted here. (When set to 0, this item is ignored by the scan).
Lower Value: When wanting the criteria to occur within a value range, the lower value is inputted here. (When set to 0, this item is ignored by the scan).
