Market Analyst 5 Colours – Tweaking the colour scheme

In Section 1 we covered the preset colour schemes available for use in Market Analyst 5.  This section will cover how to select a custom colour scheme, and adjust various settings such as tool tip transparency.

To access the Colour Scheme selector, click on the Settings menu button located along the top of the Market Analyst 5 window.  In the General Settings window that displays, left click the Chart Colours tab on the left hand side.  The following window will display:

The first two settings allow you to adjust the font settings for Labels (for example those displayed on a Gann Swing Chart, when labels are enabled).  The Chart Font allows you to adjust the settings used for the Time and Price Scales.

To adjust the colour of an item, left click the preview window once, to select it.  There are 4 areas you can select:

·         The Time / Price Scales

·         The Tips window

·         The History Bar

·         The History Bar Slider

When you select one of the above items, the settings at the bottom of the window will update.

Once you have selected your desired colour scheme, click Ok to apply the changes.

Highlight Intensity

Located on the top right corner of the colour scheme window is a slider bar for highlight intensity.  If you find you are having trouble noticing the highlight effect displayed when your mouse is placed over a chart or tool, use this slider to increase the intensity of the highlight effect.
