Backups

Market Analyst 5 contains an automated backup system, where once a week (by default) your work will be copied to a backup folder located in My Documents.  This is a great way to ensure unintended changes to workbooks, portfolios, etc can be reversed if needed.  This however does not protect you if your system crashes and you lose all of your saved information.  As a result we have added an option in MA5 that allows you to perform a manual backup of all your work to a USB Stick or other networked drive.

To do this, click on the Settings menu button located at the top of the Market Analyst 5 window.  In the General Settings window that opens, left click on the Backup tab located on the left hand side.  The following window will display:

With the USB Stick selected, click the Backup Now button, located on the top right corner of the window.
