Data Files

This window allows you to adjust various data settings which affect how it is displayed both on a chart, and in the Data selector window.

 

 

Future Bars in Bar Style Charts: This value effects the amount of blank space displayed at the end of a chart (on the right hand side).  Tools such as Calendar Days will then continue plotting information on your chart, past the last bar.

Default Data to Load:     This setting allows you to choose how much historical data is displayed on any new chart you open. By default, all data contained in the data file is displayed. However, you can also choose one of the following options –
 
·         Last Day
·         Last Two Days
·         Last Week
·         Last Fortnight
·         Last Month
·         Last Quarter (3 Months)
·         Last Year
·         Five Years
·         Decade
 
Display Format:                                There are two options available:
 
Alpha:   All data files are ordered in alphabetical folders.
GICS:     All data files are ordered based on the S&P sector they are a part of.
