Chart Properties

Chart Properties contains 2 main sections:

 
·         Misc Properties
·         Line Settings
 
Misc Properties
 

Price Scale Margin (%): This setting is used to adjust the gap left by Market Analyst at the top and bottom of the chart window. The image below highlights the difference between a setting of 0 and a setting of 5.

 

Seconds in Auto Page Cycle:       This setting is covered in detail on Page 45 of this training manual.

Show Tools Tips:              Untick this option if you do not want the information balloon to display when your mouse is held over a tool or chart.

Hide Bars on High Compression:              Tick this checkbox to increase the speed of adjusting zoom levels on your chart (this is only recommended for people running older PC’s).
 
Line Settings
 
Default Line Width:        Adjust this setting if you want all lines to open using a specific width. When set to Default, the program allows you to adjust the width via the tool’s settings.
 
Smooth Lines:   Tick this option to create smoother lines on tools that contain curved lines.
