Locking the Info Panel

It is possible to lock the Info Panel to a specific bar to use as a reference point while placing tools, etc.  Before this can be done however a short cut for the function needs to be set in General Settings.

To create the short cut -

1.  Open Market Analyst 5
2.  Click on the Settings Menu and click the General Settings option in the menu displayed.
3.  In the window that is displayed left click the Shortcut tab on the left hand side.
4.  Scroll down to the Miscellaneous section and location the Lock Info Bar field.
5.  Left click on the column listed as None.
6.  Enter in the shortcut you wish to set for this function (in this example Ctrl + A was used).
7.  Click OK to continue.

You will now be able to lock the Info Panel to a particular bar of interest.

Unlocking the Info Panel

To unlock the Info Panel, go to the Info Panel and left click the yellow padlock icon displayed on the top right hand corner.  The Info Panel will automatically track your cursor movements again.
