Step 1 - Signing up for a trial account.

To sign up for a trial GFT account click here and fill in the required details.

Step 2 - Contacting the Market Analyst Sales Team

You will also need to ensure you have access to the External Data Access module which is included in all of our data packages (Australian EOD package starting from $49 per month).  To arrange a trial of this module, or to set up a subscription please call the sales team on 1300 655 262.

Step 3 - Enable the GFTFX exchange.

With Market Analyst open, left click the Settings menu and select the Configure Data Providers option.

In the window displayed locate the GFT option, left click it and select Next.



In the window displayed enter your GFT login and password details.  Left click the Test Account button.  The words User Name and Password Valid should display just below the Test Account button.



With the login details validated click the Next button to continue.

In the window displayed left click the GFTFX exchange, then click the > button.



Once the exchange has been added to the right hand side, click Next to continue.

Click the Finish button to complete the process.

Restart Market Analyst.

Step 4 - Opening a chart using the GFTFX data feed.

With the program restarted press F3 on your keyboard.  The Data File selector window will open.



Left click the GFTFX exchange folder.

Left click in the Type Code field and enter the FX code you wish to view (AUDUSD  for example) and press Enter on your keyboard.  The chart will open and you will have access to Intraday time frames.
